This is the latest in the series of SWATA Committee updates that we have chronicled on this blog throughout the course of this year. Todays' update is on the Secondary School Athletic Trainer Committee or SSATC. This committee is chaired by David Edell who works at Stafford HS on the southwest side of Houston.
At the national level the SSATC finished up the "Day in the Life" PPT and sent it to NATA for approval and publishing on the web. At the District Six level they are working on a project to locate all collegiate athletic training programs where high school athletic training students could apply so as to continue down the road to a career in athletic training.
